Head of the Lab
As an environmental scientist dedicated to sustainability research, the focus is on understanding the intricate connections between the environment, biodiversity, and human well-being. Key areas of study include environmental justice, biocultural diversity preservation, and conservation governance frameworks, considering human values and biodiversity patterns across species. The work spans vulnerable landscapes globally, with particular emphasis on Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe, exploring social-ecological systems over time and employing environmental modeling to forecast potential environmental and social changes across various spatial and temporal scales
